BACKGROUND

I’m a brand strategist, entrepreneur, and idea person—passionate about building brands that matter and telling stories that stick.

With a background in marketing, leadership, and military precision, I bring clarity, creativity, and strategy to everything we build at Chef Kaylee. After six years of service in the U.S. Navy—where I managed Top Secret communications, led mission-critical teams, and earned multiple awards—I transitioned into entrepreneurship and brand building.

I co-founded Fuel Your Tomorrow, a green-certified culinary startup, and led it through funding, marketing, press, and growth. Today, I use that same grit, resourcefulness, and attention to detail to elevate everything we do—behind the scenes and in front of our clients.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing from Western Governors University, where I earned multiple awards for communication excellence, innovation, and strategic thinking.

At my core, I love bringing big ideas to life. Whether I’m designing a campaign, writing copy, mapping brand strategy, or developing systems that scale—I’m always thinking about how to create something meaningful and memorable.

From social media to storytelling, from visuals to voice—I’m here to make sure our brand resonates deeply with the people we serve.

During this period, I dedicated myself to completing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing while also raising two young children. This time allowed me to invest deeply in both personal growth and professional development.

While away from full-time work, I remained actively engaged in strategic learning, creative projects, and market research—honing my skills in brand strategy, digital marketing, and emerging technologies. As an Information Systems Technician (Petty Officer Second Class) at NCTS in Sigonella, Italy from 2016 to 2019, I played a vital role in managing secure air-to-ground and ground-to-air communications for the Sixth Fleet. I operated HF/VHF radio, computer, and telephone systems to support dispatchers, pilots, and air traffic controllers, ensuring real-time delivery of critical flight data and advisories. I was responsible for the secure handling and maintenance of Top Secret EKMS and COMSEC materials, and successfully resolved mission-critical communication outages. As the youngest Lead Communications Watch Officer and the first NIXT Supervisor in the Sixth Fleet, I led watch teams through complex military exercises and equipment maintenance protocols. I also organized a successful command fundraiser and was honored with two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals (NAMs) for exceptional performance and leadership
